Tips for Teachers: Information

Purpose (What this class is about & not about): Basic principles & practices of teaching yoga on the rope wall including: instruction, modifications, alignment, actions, common issues. We will teach this using at least 6 poses critical to many yoga practices: 1) Ardha Uttanasana with P3 Bar, 2) Dandasana with P1 rope wall belts (RWB)  and yoga strap, 3) Adho Mukha Virasana with P1 RWB, 4) Urdhva bhekasana with P1 RWB ,  5) Supta padangustasana with P1 RWB and yoga strap and 6) Vanarasana with 2 P3 RWB. Schedule for Each Day

  • Day 1: Friday Night on Zoom: Introductions, Discuss purpose of workshop discuss overarching questions,
  • Day 2 Adho Mukha Virasana: Urdhva bhekasana, Dandasana
  • Day 3: Supta Padangustasana, Vanarasana, teaching in teams
